Warranty Coverage and Replacement Policy

Warranty Duration

  • All electrical items purchased through homebrightlex.com include a 2-year warranty, beginning on the date of delivery.

  • If you selected the optional 1-year extended warranty, your total coverage becomes 3 years.


What the Warranty Covers

The warranty applies exclusively to manufacturing defects affecting electrical or functional components.
Coverage includes:

  • Malfunctions due to factory defects

  • Electrical failures occurring under normal, correct use

  • Operational issues not caused by external damage

A replacement unit will be provided at no additional cost when a defect is confirmed.


What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by accidents, drops, impacts, or improper handling

  • Wear and tear resulting from regular use

  • Issues caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or neglect

  • Damage caused by liquids (unless the product is explicitly rated as waterproof)

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect functionality

Any misuse or failure to follow product instructions voids the warranty.


How to Request a Replacement

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Send an email to info@homebrightlex.com
    Use the subject line: “Warranty Request – [Order Number]”

  2. After receiving the automated response, reply with:

    • A brief description of the issue

    • One or more videos clearly showing the malfunction (e.g., the device not turning on, not charging, or not functioning properly)

If a video cannot be provided or does not clearly show the issue, we may request that you return the product for inspection.

⚠️ Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
⚠️ Cash-on-delivery (COD) returns will not be accepted.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service.


Claim Approval Criteria

A warranty claim will be approved if:

  • The defect is confirmed as a manufacturing or electrical fault

  • The customer provides sufficient documentation (video/photos)

  • The product has been used according to the instructions

Requests that do not meet these criteria may be refused.


Possible Outcomes

If the product is confirmed to be defective under warranty, we will provide one of the following:

  • A replacement unit

  • A free repair (if applicable)

  • A full refund if replacement or repair is not possible

If no defect is found, the product will be returned to you. Shipping costs remain your responsibility.
